Infused Vodka – How to Flavour Alcohol at Home
Here’s how to make homemade simple infused vodka. I got started making homemade alcohol with two versions of nanking cherry liqueur. The process I used for those require longer than this simple infused vodka recipe.
This recipe is quicker and easier! With only a little time til Christmas, we need something that we can make much more quickly. Infused vodka, as seen on CTV Morning Live, ought to do the trick.
I made a batch of saskatoon and lemon infused vodka and some cranberry, orange and cinnamon infused vodka. After infusing two bottles of vodka for 2 weeks, I had plenty of flavoured vodka for stocking stuffers, gifts and our own liqueur cabinet.
Here’s the recipe for saskatoon infused vodka.

Notes
WARNING: Infused vodka, is still vodka. We are not turning vodka into a sipping liqueur with these recipes, we’re simply adding a touch of flavour. So, unless you typically sip vodka straight up, consider using infused vodka in your favourite drink mixes. Here are some ideas:
Champagne Cocktail
1 oz infused vodka (chilled)
1 oz fruit juice (to complement the vodka flavour)
3 oz champagne (chilled)
berries or fruit as garnish
Place 1-4 berries in the bottom of a champagne flute. Add vodka and fruit juice. Top with champagne.
Cosmo
2 oz infused vodka
1/2 oz triple sec
1 oz fruit juice
1/2 oz lime juice
berries or citrus peel as garnish
ice
Shake vodka, triple sec, juice in martini shaker filled with ice. Pour into martini glass and garnish with berries or citrus peel.
Enjoy!
