Classic steamed cauliflower and peas with fresh dill is a quick and easy side dish for any occasion. Colorful and delicious.

Ingredients
2cupscauliflowercut in bite sized pieces
3cupswashed and trimmed snap peas2 cups shelled peas
1Tbspbutter
2Tbspfresh dillchopped
1/4tspsalt
1/8tsppepper
Instructions
Place steam basket in pot with enough water to reach the bottom of the basket.
Place cauliflower into basket, cover with lid, bring water to boil then steam for 3 minutes.
Add peas to cauliflower, cover with lid and steam for an additional 2 minutes.
Check peas and cauliflower for desired tenderness, if necessary steam just a touch more, but don't overcook.
Remove from heat and transfer veggies to serving dish.
Toss with butter, dill, salt and pepper.
Taste and add more seasoning as desired.
Serve and enjoy.
Notes
This recipe is very flexible. Add more or less cauliflower, peas, butter, dill or other herbs like parsley, green onions or thyme. Use whatever you prefer and have available.
